Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Check out the iconic Red Rocks during the day (open to the public) for a nice hike or in the evening for a concert. Just 15 minutes from Evergreen.
Golden Colorado
Golden is one of JJ and I's favorite mountain towns. We had our first date here. If you'd like to repeat our first date, we hiked Mount Galbraith, and then went to downtown Golden to eat at Bobs Atomic burgers and walked alongside Clear Creek :) Golden is just 15 minutes from Evergreen.
Coors Brewery Tour
If you like beer, history, or want to learn a bit more about one of Colorado's most iconic companies, than this tour is a must for you! Just 15 minutes from Evergreen.

- The Bagelry in Evergreen: JJ and I go here almost every weekend after our favorite trail run

-Evoque in Evergreen: the best culinary experience you will ever have. Get the Bison Short ribs. You will thank us.
-Cafe Terracotta in Littleton, the blackened Cod is the best white fish you'll ever have.

-Apex park in Golden: Danielle used to run here most days after work
-Mount Galbraith in Golden: our first date
-Panorama outlook via Bear Creek Trail in Evergreen - starting at O'fallon park: Danielle grew up running this trail with her uncle and her mom. Now, this is our favorite trail. We run here almost every weekend.
-Turkey Trot trail in Morrison: our doggie niece's (Layla and Bailey) love this hike
-Staunton State Park
Golden Mill & Clear Creek
One of the most fun not-so-lazy river tubing experiences of your life! Stop at Adventure West to rent a tube and tube Clear Creek for a mile-long adventure of turbulent rapids! Many regard it as one of the best summertime activities in Colorado.! Ending at the Golden Mill, treat yourself to an endless of selection of self-pouring stations and food vendors that will surely make the day a recipe for a great time!
